FAQ: What does DAS Make?

When it comes to garments, if you can envision it, we can design engineer it. Our talents are widespread and multi-faceted. Through years of design and manufacturing experience, we can provide the professional services necessary to create the product you desire.

FAQ: What is the minimum order quantities?

We pride ourselves in knowing that each customer and project is unique, therefore we do not have minimums. We are equipped to fulfill large quantity orders but are also open to top-ups and small batch runs. If you are unsure of your quantities, we will help you maximize efficiencies.

FAQ: What is the turnaround time?

Our team works with your goals to accommodate your timeline. However it is a general guideline to allow for 4-8 weeks depending on each project from the ready for production style.

FAQ: What does it cost to develop a style?

The cost depends on the sample reference that was given and the complexity of the style, markers for cutting and grading. The minimum cost would be $500.00.
All of the development costs are billed by the time spent on each step.

FAQ: What do I need to provide to create my product?
  • An existing garment: we can create a pattern from your garment, then tweak it to make it your own.
  • An existing pattern: an existing pattern works great as a block reference. We subsequently create your new style according to the specs you provide to us.
FAQ: Do I need to live in Vancouver to work with DAS?

No, not at all! We communicate with you via phone, text, email, post, Zoom, FaceTime. Conference meetings are via phone, orders are placed through email, and shipping is sent to the address you supply.
